Anita Marchionne - second Nursing student from left
Anita Marchionne started her learning journey with TAFE Gippsland as the face for Free TAFE, and she has achieved great things ever since.
When Minister for Training & Skills, Gayle Tierney, visited our Morwell campus in early 2019 to launch the Free TAFE initiative, Anita was on hand to represent the Diploma of Nursing cohort. Anita displayed a very professional, positive and enthusiastic approach in representing our Institute during the media interview questions.
Anita’s clinical skills and knowledge base are of a high standard, and she demonstrates professionalism and communicates well with clients and other health professionals. In order to improve her own knowledge and skill level, Anita went the extra mile and put lots of effort into researching and utilising her teachers’ knowledge to enhance her own learning. This resulted in a distinction level for her studies.
She has taken on feedback throughout her course and used this to improve her knowledge and understanding of topics. Other students look up to her as a role model.
Anita Marchionne’s friendly, outgoing personality and welcoming smile will take her into the industry she loves, along with the well-deserved award of Vocational Student of the Year for Nursing.
